The Layana Resort and Spa, Krabi is located on Lanta Yai Island, facing the white sandy Phra Ae beach. Drive time from Krabi Town to Khlong Jiraj Pier in Krabi is approximately 10 minutes, 60 minutes from Krabi Airport or 3.5 hour from Phuket International Airport then it is a 3 hour passenger ferry trip to Koh Lanta Yai or Koh Lanta Noi Island. A car ferry service operates from Hua Hin Pier, Krabi to Lanta Noi Island for those wishing to travel to Lanta Yai they will have to take another ferry from Lanta Noi. Ferries have no fixed departure times but normally operate between 06.00 hours and 22.00 hours. All ferry times are subject to weather conditions and short notice changes or cancellations. |
The resort features 50 luxurious guestrooms and suites comprising 44 Garden Pavilion rooms, 3 Beach Suites and 3 Ocean Deluxe Suites. All are designed in contemporary Thai style, complete with large balconies, while decor and furnishings are both natural and luxurious, making extensive use of hardwoods, silks and other indigenous materials. All rooms have either king-size double beds or separate twin beds with goose-down duvets, as well as a large daybed serving both as a daytime sitting area and as a third bed at night if needed. Bathrooms are fitted with bathtubs and separate showers, while the suites are additionally provided with open-air garden showers. |
